I love Garlic. I add it to almost anything I cook at home because I know it has great health benefits. Recently though, I discovered a few more wonderful things about Garlic and thought I’d share them with you đŸ™‚

Garlic contains a powerful compound called Allicin which makes garlic among the most antioxidant-rich foods on earth.

Allicin helps nitric oxide release in the blood vessels and relaxes them, which therefore reduces blood pressure.

Since garlic has anti-inflammatory properties it is useful in relieving psoriasis outbreaks by rubbing garlic oil onto the skin.

Garlic can be used to treat acne, warts and toothaches.

Garlic has a natural adhesive quality that can be used as a strong glue to fix hairline cracks in glass. Crush some cloves and rub the juice on the crack, wiping away any excess.

Garlic applied to wounds can help heal them faster.

Garlic is packed with potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, selenium, carotene beta, zea-xanthin, and Vitamin C.

Crush a clove of raw garlic and gently rub on skin to get rid of a pimple.

Holding a piece of chopped garlic on a cold sore can help alleviate pain and reduce swelling.

Drinking lemon juice will help get rid of garlic breath.
